SDM was founded by Gregory Dann, an experienced multi-faceted major bunker supplier and bunker + cargo trader with over 35 years of experience in the market. His background includes overseeing the entire supply/sales operation at FAL in the Middle East during its early days.
After leaving Dubai, Gregory Dann served as the head of fleet bunker purchasing for a major shipping company, where he managed fuel procurement and hedging for a fleet of over 200 dry bulk vessels. Subsequently, he successfully established a bunker trading company, which was later acquired by a major global bunker company.
Following several years in corporate roles, Gregory decided to return to his core expertise in bunkers and customer relations on a more personal, direct basis.
